Connectland Laptop Stand Review: Affordable and Efficient

The most interesting detail with this laptop stand from Connectland is the price tag, which is very attractive. It’s a no-frills single fan solution that works well and provides ample value for money. Considering the price point we were mildly skeptical about this cooler, but it proved itself again and again.

First of all the USB-powered fan is quiet, which is a big problem with some other solutions on the market – especially those using only a single fan for heat dissipation. It also comes with a swivel feature and you can adjust the angle for improved ergonomics.

It’s intended for laptops between 12 and 17 inches, but it is best suited for those in between. We tested the stand with a 15-inch laptop, which worked just fine. The cooling station is comparatively light and compact compared to others in its class.

It cools your laptop in an original way by blowing air along the underside of the computer, which is pretty much the opposite design of most other coolers, which usually circulate the air by sucking hot air out. Regardless it keeps the laptop running cool and quiet.

There is primarily one negative aspect with this stand: It is nowhere near as comfortable to have on your lap compared to products like the Logitech Comfort Lapdesk- some additional padding along the bottom would have gone a long way out here. But cooling is the primary function and this is handled very effectively. Another big plus is of course that it’s very inexpensive.
